We are not yet aware of the very newly developed but very sustainable product – Wild Earth reaching the UK yet, but its interest and advertising are exactly what the future of our pet food needs.
We do not see the import of tons of this food into the UK as a viable option as the idea is to reduce our carbon footprint with such a sustainable product, not increase it. However, as this Blog post shows, Mars petfood has bought out a huge stake in the company and we can only hope that our local Mars petfood industry located in Melton Mowbray in the UK can follow suit and begin production of this great new product which uses Japanese Fungus Koji as its protein source.
