12 years is such a good age for a giant breed Mastiff and when Troy’s Mum transitioned him from raw onto a vegan dog food diet, the changes she noticed in just 2 weeks were astounding! She started by buying Green Crunch (which he loved) and in just 2 weeks, his weight dropped from 52kgs to 49kgs. With this weight loss, his energy returned and suddenly this tired old boy was wanting to play again!
Seeing how much Troy loved his new plant-based diet, and knowing that fresh is always best; his Mum decided to buy our Just be Kind supplement and begin homecooking for him using our homemade recipes. What a success!
In her words – “Troy is doing super on the homemade food. One recipe you gave me now lasts for 2 days so can vary from about 1100g to 1400g a day which we think is perfect for him. Just in case you’d like to add a note onto other people’s recipes, I cook mine in the slow cooker with boiling water on high for roughly 2-3 hours and it comes out great and saves time. My pans still aren’t big enough for all the food but I am happy using a slow cooker and it works well for me.
We have weighed him this evening and now he’s weighing 43.5kg which is an enormous effort from when we started months ago at 52kg!!! He looks like a new dog.”
