Nora the sweetest rescue has just stolen my heart! I love all your dogs and their stories, and here is one about Nora who was found abandoned on the streets of Cyprus as a terrified and emaciated puppy. Her start in life was a hard one – mentally and physically for her as she lacked any form of kindness having to fend for herself while still so young, as well as being deprived physically of all the important nutrients needed for growth.

Thankfully she ended up in Barnsley in the UK with just the loveliest family anyone could ask for. I can say that with all honesty as I know this particular family as they lived in our street many years ago and our children were all at the same school. Our paths crossed many years later as we had both moved from the area we were both in, and Mum Sheila (who worked in schools and I had SO much admiration for), realised that I had started to promote and sell vegan dog food.

She bought some to try from Just Be Kind and had this to say from the start –

“Hi Arielle, I just wanted to say that the kibble I ordered from you is the best vegan dog food we’ve tried. The dogs are all doing really well on it, less pooing, loads of energy etc, so definitely ordering more!! They all love it too! I will be home cooking for Nora soon too – can’t wait!”

“Hi Arielle
I had to give you an update on Nora, so hope you don’t mind. She’s been on home cooked food mixed with Solo Vegetal for 3 weeks now and she’s like a different dog! She runs around like a giddy kipper on her walks, seems so much better in her mood (happy and excitable), and her coat looks amazing!

Honestly, she is reverting back to puppyhood so we are over the moon! It’s also so easy to make in the Instant pot too – all the wins 🙌🏻💚
Honestly, this is incredible and so lovely to see her enthusiastically eating for the first time in the 5 years she’s been with us. It’s a good job I doubled up the Umami Recipe.

Thank you Arielle, for doing so much to promote healthy and kind alternatives for our beloved dogs. Xx”
