I was so excited to receive this e-mail this week in my inbox –
Hi All
Thought you might be interested in my paper which has been published at last! Only a small number used in the study but worthy of further investigations.

Specialist in Veterinary Clinical Nutrition (Small Animal)
There were 3 other people on the e-mail list, and one of them was Dr Marge Chandler who along with Dr Mike Davies, is one of the UK’s top vet nutritionists. So good that this information is being sent directly from one credible source to another – it all helps to allow top professionals to see the benefits of a nutritionally sound vegan dog food diet.
Royal Veterinary College Specialist in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition, Dr Mike Davies has finally had his successful study published showing the effects of a nutritionally sound vegan dog food diet on 100 dogs fed this diet over 3 – 12 months. (In this study, Omni dry food was used). The results came back showing that clear improvements were reported in coat glossiness, dandruff, itchiness, external ear canal crusting, faecal consistency, anti-social smell and anxiety.
I recently completed a Small Animal Nutrition Course run by Dr Davies as his knowledge is vast and he is very well respected as one of the top veterinary nutritionists in the UK and beyond. His published studies are SO exciting and yet further published proof of the benefits of feeding our dogs a nutritionally sound plant-based diet!
“There are now eight studies or veterinary masters theses, examining health outcomes in dogs maintained on vegan or vegetarian diets. Seven studies now support the use of these diets. The weight of evidence now overwhelmingly supports the use of nutritionally sound vegan dog food.”
