Lilabelle is a tiny teacup Maltese who has suffered from ulcerated ear canals due to an allergy to fish! Yes, fish does fall into the category as being one of the top allergens that we can feed to our dog. Anyone who has had an ear infection themselves will know how painful it is to have any form of ulceration in such a sensitive area…but thank goodness for pure plant-based proteins and vegan dog food!
Little Lilabelle can now be maintained for life on an animal and fish protein free diet as she loves all the top foods that we sell. We have also advised some Omega 3 pure Algae oil to benefit her skin barrier and overall health. It is where fish would get their Omega 3 from without having to feed our dog any of the heavy metals associated with fish – perfect for little Lilabelle, the fish and our fragile oceans 🙂
