Following on from a very successful Pet Nutrition Symposium organised by the Glasgow Vet School, I was so impressed that they went even one step further and asked if I would add a section to the MSc Nutrition Programme at the university to teach students all about plant-based dog nutrition!
What a huge win for the future of feeding our pets a healthy sustainable diet by teaching our future.
It took me months to complete the 20 minute PowerPoint that they requested all about plant-based dog nutrition as I found it so hard to condense all the information that I had into such a short space of time.
It has been filled with so much evidence-based medicine and proof from all of the published research completed by Prof Andrew Knight and Dr Sarah Dodd and Prof Kelly Swanson.
We all crave that evidence and proof that we are doing the right thing, and how fortunate we are to have them completing such important work for the future of our pet’s health (and our planet’s health!).
