Paul Mc Cartney is definitely a vegan and we commend him for it.

“Many years ago, I was fishing, and as I was reeling in the poor fish, I realised, ‘I am killing him—all for the passing pleasure it brings me.’”

So says Sir Paul McCartney. “And something inside me clicked,” he continues. “I realised as I watched him fight for breath that his life was as important to him as mine is to me.” His latest quote states “I Am Paul McCartney, and I Am a Vegetarian,” so why does he also state that he is vegan?

There are two kinds of vegans: ethical and nutritional. Paul, who has a farm with chickens, is an ethical vegan. This means that he can eat the eggs of his own chickens because those particular chickens are being kept humanely. We commend this as this is part of our kindness ethos – we also love our pet chickens!
