The mystery about Bruno’s leg rash and sickness is solved at last!
“I adopted Bruno (a Chihuahua cross) from my local rescue centre when he was 9 months old. He has always had a healthy appetite for food, but it soon became apparent that very few pet foods containing meat, fish or rice agreed with him.
For a few years he seemed to be okay eating grain-free products containing chicken, but he would occasionally be sick and often have redness on the inside of his front legs, which he would lick and make worse. We saw various vets about both of these symptoms and none of them ever suggested that he might have a meat protein allergy.
Thank goodness for Dr Arielle’s website and the invaluable information that led me to try Solo Vegetal’s tinned food six months ago. Bruno loves it, his sickness and skin irritation has gone and, as a vegan myself, it is good to know that we are reducing the number of animals being bred and slaughtered needlessly.
Solo Vegetal’s tinned food genuinely looks and smells delicious, unlike any other pet food I’ve ever had my nose near! It spoons out of the can easily and cleanly, which is another bonus. I often have to remind myself that it is Bruno’s food and I’m not allowed to lick the spoon!”

“As a vet, I believe in a kinder, healthier way to feed our pets that does no damage to our environment, harms no animals and uses fresh, healthy plant-based ingredients for a balanced and delicious diet”
