I asked further about these 2 gorgeous and active dogs and their Mum sent such an interesting reply –
“All my vegan dogs have lived years longer than my childhood dogs who had pedigree chum and winalot. They sadly died at 12. My vegan dogs were between 15 and 18 years with no health problems. Even then they had Happidog with vegetables added. I am sure Happidog is nowhere near as good as the vegan foods available today.
If anyone ever says anything to me about my dogs being vegan I just say if I thought it harmed them I wouldn’t do it but in fact it’s quite the opposite I know for a fact they are healthier and I have given them the best chance of living longer. Also they love their food.
