“Here is a picture of Moss. He’s a 20 month old shorthaired Border Collie. He came from a sheep farm near Bala in North Wales along with his brother Alfie. Moss has been vegan since we got him at 8 weeks.
He’s super healthy and very energetic. Interestingly, we are close friends with his brother’s owners, so have been able to keep a constant comparison with their dog – a meat-eater. His brother gets fed a “ high quality” mix of dry and wet meat food that is supplied by subscription.
There is absolutely no difference between them, in their size, weight, energy, or cheerfulness. Only difference is Moss shows no interest in his brother’s food, whereas his brother is very keen to get Moss’! Moss is the happiest nicest natured dog you could wish for.
He and his brother were together yesterday and it was noted that although no difference could be seen in them, Moss is better behaved and has a calming effect on his brother.
We took him to the vets this week to get him neutered, as had been advised by our usual vet. But we didn’t see the usual vet but a lovely french vet who asked us why. We said we didn’t want to breed with him and had been told it was healthier. She said otherwise and as he has a gentle nature there was no reason to. So reprieve for Moss:)
What she did say was, that he was in excellent condition a great weight and we were obviously managing his diet very well. My husband and I gave each other a sideways look, but neither of us plucked up the courage to say he was vegan! Maybe when he’s older, and he has more healthy years under his belt we will. We’re such cowards.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to have a vegan dog, as we had decided after our last dog that as vegans we could only have a dog companion if he could be a healthy vegan.
Thank you again Arielle”
I had previously tried him with Yumove tablets and saw no difference!
I recently trialled the Gold Dust along with the Algae oil with a 9 year old 40 kg English Bulldog that I look after who was struggling to lift his back legs to pee and go up and down the stairs
Sarah the active Border Collie loves her daily Gold Dust
“Sarah is an amazing girl. Very intelligent and active, she just wants to please. We love her so much.”
Lottie’s plant-based diet has been a Game Changer!
We have not been back to the vets for her itchy ears for 4 weeks and counting! Which is incredible with what we’ve been through!
